This is what I found this morning when I let the dogs out at 5:30 AM.

Yuck! What's that on your car? I wouldn't know. Stay warm.

2tiredmom 10-28-2008 06:34 AM

Hey that's what ours looked like too.

judy 10-28-2008 07:10 AM

Big deal! A little bit of white stuff on your cars.

We're getting from 8 - 12" by tomorrow and have a wind advisory. The trees and wires may come down because of the howling wind.

I'm spending the day in bed watching TV. I will take the dogs out later to play in the snow. Annie has never seen snow.

I'll try to get pictures.

Okay we're sissys. But I do love a nice snowstorm so long as I get to stay home with the family and the lights don't go out. Hope your little ones enjoy it.

Dobie 10-28-2008 08:54 AM

We have about 3 or 4 inches on the mountain peaks, but nothing below treeline yet - I'm really looking forward to winter and snow shoeing!!!

Lindsey 10-28-2008 09:12 AM

Wow, we were supposed to get snow about a month ago but it didn't happen. Our temps are wayyyyyyy above normal... like in the afternoon I can be outside in a t-shirt. I just checked the forecast and there's a chance of snow or rain one day next week, but still high temperatures so if it snows it would just melt anyway.
My roommate and I were just commenting on it this morning... when we were little we never had a Halloween without a couple feet of snow!!! We had to buy costumes that were big enough to wear snow suits under. Next week is November already, and we haven't had even one snowfall!

You have got to be kidding???? Are you really expecting that much????

Well my dear friend...you can have it, I don't want snow ever!

Mandy 10-28-2008 11:07 AM

 i still have that "after summer" feeling, and here i'm looking at snow pics brrrrrrrr
It is getting cold here too though, expecting frost tonight, but i know it froze lastnight too.

donna1990 10-28-2008 11:32 AM

Had to change my profile page to WINTER.

Janet 10-28-2008 01:41 PM

And your page is pretty too!

judy 10-28-2008 02:10 PM

It is pretty!

It's suppossed to be around 50 in a couple of days. ????

highlans 10-29-2008 03:01 AM

We had our first snow fall last night very unusual for England at this time of year.
This morning it is very cold but bright sunshine and clear blue skies with about three inches of snow on the ground. My grandaughter has just come in from playing in the garden with rosy cheeks so nice to see, and is now in front of the tv with hot chocolate. Some days you feel just great to be alive.:)

Marilyn 10-29-2008 03:34 AM

It actually got really cold here yesterday morning, and it's 37 deg right now and warming to only 79 for a high today. I had to wear a jacket yesterday for the first time this fall. We are freezing down here. Actually had to turn the heat on yesterday morning to take the chill off so I could shower. Brrrrrrrr!!!

Tiramisu 10-29-2008 04:27 AM

We had 44 this morning. It's hard to tell if the leaves are turning because there's so many dead limbs still in trees! I'm wearing a thin blazer, so it's COLD.

Janet 10-29-2008 05:23 AM

We still haven't turned the furnace on yet you wimps....ROFLMBO!!!!! We do have a fireplace insert and then I have the electric heaters on for the puppies, but other than that....jeans and sweatshirts.

Suppose to get up to 69 degrees within the next few days.

donna1990 10-29-2008 05:27 AM

It is 42 here this morning. Glad you like my page.

I liked your page too, Donna. Very nice!!!

We had snow in our forecast last week but it was removed later on. We turned our furnace on soon after I got home from Janet's. The nighttime temps have just been too cold. We had a hard freeze a couple of nights ago and again last night.

Judy, I just can't imagine having that much snow this early or wearing a snow suit on Halloween, like Lindsey!!! BRRRRRR!!!!!! Maybe you guys should consider moving south!!!!!

Janet 10-29-2008 08:39 AM

Yeah Judy....move again...LOLOL. You can move to southern Indiana. It's hilly and really pretty there, plus you still get all four seasons.

HALEY 10-29-2008 08:44 AM

Little flurries here in pa, temp it 40.6, tonight is the Halloween parade, hopefully it gets a little warmer so i can take Micah.

judy 11-02-2008 05:41 AM

I'm hopefully never moving again, snow or not!!!

It's melting - going to be in the high 50's, 60's for the next ????
