We Had An Earthquake!!!
 

We felt the Oklahoma earthquake on Saturday night.....the one that was 5.6!!! Glen, Dae Lynn, and the kids were already in bed and I was the only one that was still up. I felt my chair shaking and I thought that Reuger was up against it scratching so I looked down and he wasn't by the chair......about that time he and Jazzi started barking......You could feel the whole house shaking and hear a couple of doors that were closed banging in the door frame. There was a sound that was with it......like a semi-truck driving close to the house. After a little while Dae Lynn came out of her room and then Glen came out of ours. We couldn't believe that WE were feeling an earthquake!!!! Personally I thought that it lasted a little less than a minute but they didn't think it was that long.....but then again I was up and they were in bed. Neither one of them knew that Oklahoma had been having earthqakes all day so they were really surprised. It really was scary!!! Just another day of Nature showing us who's boss!!!!

I've only felt two earthquakes and that was enough. They are scary especially when you know there is nothing you can do about it. That feeling of being out of control is scary.

Gary's sister in Norman OK has some structural damage to her house and her daughter had a big crack open up in the living room ceiling/wall. I've never felt an earthquake - I'd probably freak out!!!
