My great grandson!! Chase John, he was born on 6/26, he weighed 7# 2 oz much bigger than we expected since his mom is such a tiny little thing lol. He finally got to go home today, he had some mucus in his lungs so they wanted to make sure that was ok and then they had to wait for him to pee after they did his little peepee . I have only gotten to see him for a few minutes at the hospital so can't wait to get to really hold him for a long time.

In the one pic, is grandma and grandpa (in the back) and proud dad. Dad is into hunting so he got lots of camo stuff lol

Hi Lynne, what a precious bundle of joy! I know you are so thrilled. New babies are so wonderful, but come on Lynne, you are not nearly old enough to have a GREAT grandson!!!!!

How sweet!!! He's such a pretty baby!!! I agree with Gayle......Are you sure it's a GREAT grandbaby??? You're NOT that old!!!

lynne b 07-01-2012 04:56 AM

Yes i am sure he is a GREAT grandson, i'm not proud to say it but i was 15 when i had my 1st daughter, but i am proud of how my girls have grown into adults, been a ruff road for them but am still proud of them.
Both girls were 18 when they had their first baby and now my g-son is 18 (19) in Sept, which i now know is way to young still to have kids LOL

When i had my daughter we were just shy about a month of having 6 generations, then when my daughter had her first son we had 5 generations on my mom's and my dad's side. We now have 5 generations on my side again, as soon as we can get the baby up to meet my mom we will get pic's of the 5 of us. We would have had 5 on their dad's side but unfortunatly that did not happen.

I will post pic's of all the different 5 generations as soon as i get the new ones taken. Most all of my g-parents lived to be late 80's to early 90's.

Chase is doing well, can't wait to go see him again today :D

5 generations (and almost 6) is so cool! Can't wait to see the pix. I know you must love him to pieces! I'm so glad Chase is doing well after that blip with his lungs. Give him a hug and a kiss from me!

Pat yourself on the back for being a great Mom at such an early age!!! I was 17 when I got married and had a baby and I know how it is too be so young. I have granddaughters, who if they chose to could make me a great-grandmother at any time. Hopefully they'll choose not to for awhile. You've done a great job raising your kids and being a great mom......Congratulations on the newest and sweetest little member of your family!! I know that you're going to enjoy him so much!!!

we have a long line of 5 generations in our family, and with our new g-grandson we have it again. Granted i was only 15 when i had my 1st daughter so that may have had something to do with it, but my grand parents were all in their late 80"s early 90's when they passed away. We missed haveing 6 generations by about 1 month when i had my 1st daughter. The 2 pic's that look alike is 5 generations on my dads side and my moms side and then the newest addition is my g-son and g-grandson. We hope to get better pic's of my g-grandson when he gets a little older so we can acutally see him, mom was scared she would drop him.

What a wonderful treasure your pictures are!! We have some pictures with four generations but none with five. The first picture made me laugh because the great-great grandmother is the only one who smiled!! Cute!! Thanks so much for sharing!!

JJJ 07-30-2012 05:54 PM

That is stupendous. I'm sure the six generation will make it.

Blueyes 07-31-2012 02:13 PM

What a blessing! You have generations of good looking family members:) Congrats on your great grandson!

Think it's about time for an updated pic of my little guy, he is a little over 2 months old now. Need to get a better 5 generation pic also. He's such a happy little guy LOL, I just love him so much.
