Downsizing.....

Downing sizing in pets only...this time...lolol. Finally found a great home for Brenna. She hasn't been gone more than 24 hours yet and it's so much quieter. She's the one that got everyone going and wouldn't be quiet. When the other bark...I can quiet them down...most of the time.

Also found a home for one of the female kittens, leaving us with Kitty, 2 males and 2 females. I've rec'd some inquiries from others wanting to come check them out so hopefully they will come soon.

When Ricky moves he'll take two dogs and two cats so that will leave us with just 2 dogs...Emilee and Joey. Things are starting to come together...Thank you God!!!!

Hurray! I'm sure Brenna will love her new home, and you can enjoy the quiet!

So glad you found Brenna a good home. I know how it is to have a barker, unfortunately...I have 3 of them lol. Mine go off over everything. It can get very frustrating. One starts and the other two follow. I even bought one of those debark things and that was a huge waste of 70.00, didn't work. Hope you find good homes for the kitties.

Paula, if you still have the de-barker, you might try positioning it down at the level of their head. I had one for the lab next door and I had to position it on a pole right at the level of his face. It definitely stopped him from barking, but if it was too high or too low, it didn't work.

I've had a couple different things like that and they didn't work for me either. It's been much quieter here without Brenna. Another female left for her new home today. We are down to one male (since Ricky is keeping one) and one female that I just don't know if I want to let her go. She was the runt and is still so tiny. Yeah...I know....

If you aren't sure, just keep her for awhile. No regrets;)

I'm sure that you found a good home for Brenna. I can understand your fustration with barking. Jazzi heads ours up here at home. Reuger's not much of a barker by himself. If I have a newspaper nearby to rattle they'll quiet right now......they respect the newspaper!!!

I know that you've been fustrated with the dogs so hopefully this will help you enjoy them more. You've got time to decide on what cats you want to keep. I'm sure that Ricky will take what ever you decide you don't want.
