My marriage of EIGHT FREAKING YEARS ended this week! So this site is like KARMA! I take it as a sign that this break up is meant to be.

I've been in shock all blooming week and I'm just starting to come out of it. I no longer cry when I tell people. I still get angry/sad when I say "my husband". I'm having trouble using the singular personal pronoun (I) instead of the plural (we).

In just a matter of days I've found a doggie friendly place (with a fenced yard) to live. It's in my price range and there's a dog exercise area just round the corner!! That is also a sign I think!

And for those of you who are crossovers from YT - do you want to know one of the reasons he had for breaking up - he can't stand my dogs! Poor Dougal and Dixie!

I'm a little freaked out. This will be the first time I've ever lived by myself, been responsible for paying all the bills and so on!

He couldnt stand your babies, well girl... as hard as it sounds, i think your way better off living alone and love your fur kids, they don't judge, and they always there when we need them.
Sounds like you found a nice little house all fenced in with a doggie play yard around the corner, that's neat!! Well done girl ;) Thumbs up for you!!

I am sorry about your break up. It sounds as if though you are keeping your head held high and looking towards the future. Your fur kids will give your a lot of comfort as you move forward too. I am a true believer that there is a reason for everything. "Hang in there".

life goes on.. things will get better i promise.. i was so depressed, but everyday
gets better... think possitive it will get better and you will meet the man of your dreams... it happened to me when i least expected it.

Oh goodness....i am so sorry for your pain...he really said he was through because of your dogs??? what a selfish turd...just my opinion. well you need to get all "did up" and go out and paint the town red (or your favorite color-haha!!) and just have fun and try to put all this out of your mind for a few hours. Maybe if he finds out that you are getting on with your life just fine without him he will come crawling back...it's up to you & your doggies if you want him back....if not kick him to the curb in your new stilettos!!!!:D :D :D
