Jaci.......
Jaci's been having problems with severe heartburn since she's had Ali. It's gotten worse to where she's actually been doubled up with pain. Well, she's found out that it's her gallbladder and she's having it taken out on Thursday. Please say a prayer that all goes well. Thanks.

I sure know that feeling. Will have her in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

I ended up spending the night at Jaci's after the surgery. Nate wasn't too sure about taking care of Jaci AND Baby Ali! However Jaci was doing really well and I came home the next day. She's not suppose to lift anything over 10 pounds and Ali is 13. The doctor said that she could hold her just not carry her for long periods. I'm glad that this is over. She has really been suffering with this.

I'm glad the surgery went well!

I bet she feels lots better soon! I know she was happy to have her momma there.

Jaci is doing sooooo good! The hard part is not picking up the baby too much! I know that she's hating that part but is working it out.

I don't know if you saw on FB where Glen had cut his hand. By the weekend he realized that he couldn't move his thumb out.......only in so he contacted his doctor who immediately set up an appt in Wichita that afternoon. We went back the next day for surgery. He had actually cut on his hand below his thumb with a grinder. He had cut through two tendons that move his thumb. When the doctor got in there the tendons were too short and he suspected that Glen had ground through them so he had to graft some tendons in. You actually have a tendon in your wrist that is not used so the doctor used that. Glen also had some numbness and the doctor worked on that as well.
Glen's had very little pain and has gotten along very well. Thank goodness because he doesn't handle pain well! |
Gosh, I'm glad that had such a good outcome. It sure sounds painful. Hope it heals quickly!

So glad Glen is doing well and no pain. That sure had to hurt when he done it though...makes me want to cringe just thinking about it. Saw his wrist all bandaged in the video of little Allie laughing. She's such a doll.
Glad that Jaci is doing good too. As long as she does what the Drs. say then she'll be back to normal in no time. |
