Ceramics
3 Attachment(s)
I just wanted to share some of the ceramics I've made since this summer.
The first is a Noah's Ark lamp I made for our niece's baptism in July. We were asked to be her Godparents so this is what I decided to do as a gift. Second, I made this tortilla and salsa set. This one took me ages! It is a lot more work than it looks like lol. Each color took a few layers of paint, and they were small areas so it was a lot of detail. The woman who runs the ceramic shop just fired and glazed them for me and I picked them up on Tuesday evening. I'm really excited about how they turned out! Finally, I just finished painting this snowman wall-hanging last night. I need to do a finishing spray, and then get some wire to attach them together, and then it can be hung on the wall! Scott gave me a gift certificate to this ceramics shop for my birthday in June, because I really needed a hobby to do and I used to do a lot of ceramics as a teen. I've really enjoyed having them to work on at home :) I still have a set of three turtle lawn ornaments to work on, but I'm taking a break to work on some canvas paintings for our bedroom and the baby's nursery! |
Good job Lindsey, I like the tortilla and salsa set the best. Love the colors.

Thanks Janet!

You did a great job on all of these!!
I used to do ceramics years ago and really enjoyed it. Sadly I don't have anything I did.. I gave them all away as gifts!!! Wish I had kept a few... |
Nice job, Lindsey! The Noah's ark is adorable! I used to do ceramics too. It was something I could do and get away from the kids for awhile!

I love the ceramics Lindsey!! They are so good, you are talented. I hate to think what my painting would look like.

Thank you guys!!! It's really a nice way for me to just have some time to myself :)
