Never ending thread....
 

We need a never ending thread like some of the ones on YT. Short posts, but something that will carry on for a while. Any ideas????

I think a couple of folks have tried a couple of times and they fizzled out. Maybe we just don't have enough active members to keep it going.

Someone, start a never ending thread and let's try again!!!!!

How about posting whatever is on your mind? Just a short statement to reveal a little something about you.

I'll start.

I wish I could have been a research biologist studing seals or something.

I wish I would have followed through on my education. I would also like, not to be rich exactly, but to not have to worry if I want to go buy something. :)

I wish that I could take back the arguement that I had with my daughter last weekend. :cry:

Awwwww, (((((Diana))))). Someone told me once that words once spoken are like water spilled in the sand, we can't take them back, so all we can do is try to make it better in the future.

To carry on the thread:

I wish I could have been a stay at home mom.

I wish for spring today!! :D

I could go on with my wishes all day...

I wish I could instantly lose 20 lbs.

I wish my kids lived closer.

I wish my kids were totally happy and at peace with themselves.

I wish I would have never lost my Grandma.

I wish my program with BBBS would hurry up and find my "Little".

I wish I didn't have to pay taxes ever again.

I wish the war in Irag would end and all our service men and women could come home.

I wish my horse was perfectly trained.

I wish my fur kids would live forever with me.

I wish my husband and I could quit smoking.

I wish my wishes never end. :D

My wishes never end either! Here are some more I have:

I wish all of our student loans were paid off.

I wish my husband and I were done with school.

I wish my new lab puppy was potty trained, crate trained, and trained not to chew on anything and everything.

I wish I could go on a week long vacation to a spa and I had someone reliable to care for my dogs while I was gone so I wouldn't worry.

I wish my furbabies would live as long as I do.

I wish I lived closer to my parents and sisters and grandparents.

I wish I had the will power to eat heathily.

I wish I liked to exercise.

I wish my dad would be proactive about his health to prevent another heart attack.

Geez....maybe I should make another post about all the things I'm thankful for since I sound like a whiner in this post. :rolleyes:

You don't sound like a whiner Rebecca!! We all have wishes. Here are some more of mine...

Wish I liked to exercise more.

Wish I had more energy.

Wish I didn't worry about things so much.

Wish I had my house the way I want it.

Wish I had a better relationship with my Mom and younger brother.

Wish my Dad was alive and healthy. He's been gone 34 years. I miss and need him.

Wish my father and mother in-law were still alive. He passed 2 years ago and my she passed 2 weeks ago. I miss them.

I wish I didn't tear up so much lately....I'm so tired of crying.

I wish I had more dogs and the space/money to care for all of them.

I could go on and on.......:)

Well, if we're turning this into the wishing thread......

I wish I could retire or at least not work for someone, work for myself or my husband doing something that allows more flexibility.

I wish my neck was not messed up.

I wish my family was all in optimum heath & physical condition.

I wish my daughters could find the ideal careers that provide a good income and allow flexibility that I never had.

I wish both my daughters would marry good true Christian men.

I wish my friend Luann had two good kidneys that would last as long a the rest of her body.

I could go on and on, too.

The bible talks about heaven having streets of gold...I want to see trees and woods... nature, grass, sand, water, flowers.... Im not real fond of streets of gold. do you think there will be both? What will heaven be like?????

I personaly want to be able to sing beautifuly, and I think if I could do art work I would like that..Will we get to decorate heaven? A few wall mularls might be fun to paint!!!!

Heaven will be better than anything that we can imagine or describe. I think "streets of gold" is figurative. Solomon's temple was covered with gold, the furniture in the tabernacle in the holy and most holy places was covered with gold. Gold was the most precious thing at that time. To me, "streets of gold" means the most precious, most special, most wonderous place that God could conceive of in all His glory. We think on a physical plane, God is on a spiritual plane & what He has in store for the faithful is beyond description.

I know we cant even imagine Heaven because it is beyond us...I just like to imagine what I THINK it will be like... Did ya ever hear the song I can Only Imagine by Mercy Me???Very cool song!!!
