you know that button we were talking about on YT? well if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page here on 4W you will find it. man i sure miss that on YT.

I think it's about the "Jump Forum" menu. I remember seeing a thread about it on YT.

I've never used it, so I didn't miss it at all on YT, but I know you and a bunch of others did. I see it now, but doubt I'll use it. Do you know what she means now Marilyn? That forum jump button down at the bottom of this page. I guess there use to be one on YT and a lot of people used it and now miss it. Me, I just always use the back key or click on forums at the top of the page. I'm not always real observant...LOL

LOL - "jump forum"!! That reminds me of like "jumping ship". So, when the forum get's "too hot to handle" we can just "jump forum". hehehe hehe. :D I'm in such a silly mood today. Sorry I have to subject ya all to my silly humor this morning. :rolleyes:

I've never used it either and I'm not sure exactly how you would use it. I use my "new posts" button the most on here.

I see it, but don't know that I will use it much. I generally check new posts and just try to work my way through them. There have been so many new posts lately, it's hard to keep up. I'm just away from the home computer for too many hours in a day. Can't access forums at work anymore since the IT department blocked them. :(

The even have a screen now that pops up when you log in every morning that warns you about using the internet and e-mail for uses other than business, and that your activity is being recorded and monitored. You have to acknowledge that you have read it before you can proceed with your log in. Big brother is watching.

LoL. I didn't think of it in those terms...haha! Now Sheryl, if you get too silly, I might just have to jump forum!!! :P

I use it for every page I read. When you read to the bottom of the page, then you hit the jump forum button (even if you are going back to the same forum you are on). It works much better than the back button, becasue if you have posted (at least on my computer) when I hit the back button, it takes me back to my post, then back and back again before I get back to the page I want to see. I've never liked the new post button, I need to see everything - not so good memory, I guess!

I really miss it now on YT, I don't know why they took it off. Now, I have to scroll back to the top of the page and their will be a link to click to get back to the forum i am on. If I want to go to another forum, I have to go back to the list and scroll down and then click. It is very cumbersome!!!
