The Junos!
 

So this weekend is the weekend of the Juno's... Canada's music awards. And for the first time ever, it's being held in my city! There's "Junofest" going on this weekend, meaning there's bands and singers from all over the just showing up at bars and performing. I was going to go see Bedouin Soundclash tonight at the pub on campus but I think the friends I was going with have already deserted me :( Bars are going to be open until 4 am starting last night and ending on Sunday. I think there's still tickets available to the show but I can't afford it! My friend bought two tickets for $300. I would love to go though, Nelly Furtado is hosting and I love her. Anyways, this isn't a big place, and hopefully on my travels this weekend I might have a famous sighting!

Well I ended up going to a beer night last night instead, and leaving at around 3:30 am. Just as we were walking down the street leaving the bar, a limo pulled in to the doors! I wonder who it was! I was way too exhausted to go back and find out though. Maybe I'll see someone tonight!

AHHH so there was this rumor last night that Justin Timberlake was at Earl's which is a kinda of upscale restaurant here. I didn't believe it. Another friend just told me the same thing and said he's nominated for the international album or whatever but NOBODY big from America ever comes.. So I just asked my brother and he said that it wasn't Justin Timberlake, but Jim Carrey had a private party at Earl's last night! I LOVE Jim Carrey! And I live close to Earl's! I went there for supper two weeks ago! Haha I think I have stars in my eyes right now...
