Have you chosen or let it choose you?

One thing I've been spending a lot of time on since I quit work is my plan for my life. As many of you have probably noticed by my posts, I'm trying not to take anything for granted anymore, and want to make what I have matter. I've drifted along like most people do and just taken what comes for most of my life. I didn't know there was any other way until recently.

Now I'm exploring my spiritual side, reexamining what parts of my life have given me joy and what I need to change. In the process, I came upon this video that really speaks to me. I hope you all like it as much as I do. http://www.simpletruths.com/dash/gimundo/index.html

It's just a simple thing, yet it's the simple things that I find matter most.

I've seen this video before but it's one that I could watch over and over. It has such a sweet message about what we leave behind when we're gone. It really makes you stop and think about that litte "dash". Thanks Tink. I glad that you're life has slowed down and you're able to do some reflection into your life. We should all do that.

I agree with Diana. That was a truly sweet message. I wish more people would see that it's not all about the cars and the houses and the amount of money you can make, but that there's much more to life. Thank you for the video, Tink!

I think it's been around for quite some time. But it never EVER hurts to be reminded. Thanks again Tink.

How beautiful. Thank you Tink. I'm in the same situation you are, having retired and now I can decide how to spend every minute of my life. It's quite wonderful!
The first thing I did was to get a Yorkie!
