Do you have plans for the holiday weekend?

The only thing I have planned is on Monday. My Mom and oldest daughter and her family are coming for the day. I'm hoping to get the rest of my seedlings in the ground befroe then IF it stops raining. We've needed rain SO bad, that it's a blessing either way.

We don't have any special plans for the weekend.

I'm glad that you're getting some rain. It will sure help all the flowers that you've been planting.

No plans for me. Well, just to relax and get ready for our upcoming trip. :) I work a weird schedule, Monday-Wednesday one week and Wed-Fri the next week and then back to Mon-Wed, so every other weekend I get 6 days off in a row (Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues). My shorter weekends are the normal Sat/Sun off. Anyway, this week is my turn to work on Monday so I get the day off and only have to work Tuesday and Wednesday! Then we are leaving for Pittsburgh, PA for my long weekend. :)

I hope you get a chance to plant your flowers Tink, but like you said, either way, the rain is definitely a blessing!

No real big plans here. Just need to clean out the bus and take it back to the bus garage, go to Menard's and buy some fencing for the doggies and then just whatever seems like a good idea to do..LOL

We are not going any where either. I have lot of work that needs to be done around the house and a couple of large orders to fill.

It is supposed to rain most of the time, so that mean my DH will not be able to work on the yard. I think he said he was going to install new ceiling fans on the porch.

I think we are getting old.

DianaB 05-25-2007 11:55 AM

Michelle (aka goofywife), I'm curious. What kind of orders do you fill?

goofywife 05-25-2007 04:56 PM

I have a small online business making casual-wear dog bows. http://www.katybows.com

Today if my BD and Melissa's Garrett came for the weekend. We're supposed to all play golf tomorrow, but it's been raining quite a lot here, and there are supposed to be scattered thunderstorms tomorrow, so we may not get to play. If not, I hope we just go to the movies together or something. I'd like to see Shrek III or Spiderman III.

Melissa cleaned the house, (Karen is busy taking two classes), so we can do what we want this weekend.

The tickets are sold out and he is trying to buy them on ebay.

Sat and Monday I am working have appts. and Sunday I am having a bbq. thats my weekend..

Aww, those are SO cute Michelle!!! I bet you have a lot of happy customers. :)

Marilyn, I hope you have fun playing golf! You'll have to tell us whether or not you enjoy the movie (whether it is Shrek or SM3). I've seen SM, but I haven't seen Shrek. I want to, but we've been busy lately.

Happy 25th wedding anniversary Gina!! Congratulations! I bet it will be a really special year for you two. :) Hope you have fun celebrating!

Happy Belated Anniversary, Gina!!!! Enjoy your evening out!! And hope you make some sales since you are working on a holiday weekend!!!

Golf can be a very enjoyable and a very frustrating game. If you keep the attitude that you are out there for relaxation and just be cool about it, you actually play better and have a lot more fun. Unless you play a lot, there is no point in taking it too seriously, because to be really good, you have to spend lots of time practicing and you do have to take it seriously. I play a decent game, but nothing to get too excited about. It's a good way to enjoy the outdoors & the fresh air on a pretty day with friends or family.

I've never played real golf, EVER, (unless you count putt-putt, lol), but I'm pretty darn good at Wii Golf. lol. :p :D

Happy Anniversary Gina! Hopefully, the weather will hold up for everyone. I went to the beach yesterday and it was heaven! I even went into the water. I'm going to hang out, see a friend or two, go to yoga, and that's it.
