Well, I've decided to do both Paramedic and Nursing, and i'm applying for a BSN program in the area, problem is the program is at the University of Texas!!! It's gonna be a tough program to get into and I really want to get in, I've wanted to go to UT for a few years now but I never thought I'd actually be trying to get in!!!

Keep your fingers crossed!!! I won't know for a couple months if I get accepted, so I'm gonna be on edge for a while :rolleyes:

YAY! I'm glad you've decided what you want to do. That must make your life at least a little less stressful. :)

I'm glad to know that you are applying to the program at UT. It is a great school and it is hard to get into, so if you succeed, WOW.

Good luck with school - nursing is a GREAT profession, I should know, I've been a nurse for 33 years!!!

Being a teacher or a nurse was my childhood dreams. I hope you're able to make your dreams come true.

I finally figure it out but now it's just a sit and wait game and I'm so edgy about it. Earliest I can get in to UT is Spring, and while I would have easily gotten in straight out of high school, it's much harder to transfer in. But if I'd never gone to Texas State I would have never met my SO, so I'm not to down about it :D

My aunt & uncle live in Austin, TX. Is that close to UT? I could see if they know anyone there.
