Fence still not up!
 

I think most of you know that we have been wanting to put up a new fence for the babies. I already have the fencing materials here, but was trying to find some dirt to fill in where the above ground pool used to be.

I finally found some dirt....for free and our neighbor said we could use his small dump truck to haul it. Well, hubby went to get some dirt yesterday, but it has been raining some and it's too wet to get it. It's suppose to storm this afternoon too so it's hard telling how long it will take to get dried out.

It will be at least another week, because hubby can only get it on the weekend (he ran out of work yesterday and was able to take off). With everything going on with my Mom and hubby's health, it seems everything is so much harder.

I'm trying to keep a stiff upper lip about the whole thing, but I want to get this fence up before the cold weather comes. Life would be a bowl of cherries if it wasn't for the pits!

I'm sure that the fence will get up way before it gets too cold. You seem to get things done pretty quickly.

You haven't said much about your Mom. How is she doing? Have you been getting along better since she came home? And how is your husband's back? Does he have a date set for his surgery?

Duh! If I would have looked at the other posts I would have found the one on your Mom. Sorry about that!!!

Oh Janet, I can so relate to only having dh's help on weekends.

It does get frustrating sometimes... especially when we're the ones dealing with whatever isn't getting done and having to "make do".

Greg is great to help when he can, but he's home so little! I can imagine your dh's back problems limit the help you can get from him even more.

I hope the fence gets done soon. I know what a pita it is to not have one done yet.
