The results are in!
I quit work in March, and have stayed home since, keeping busy with things I choose to do rather than HAVE to do. I've felt better, but still kind of got a twinge of guilt every now and then, thinking that maybe I should really be working.
Last friday I had some medical tests done, and the verdict is in... my overall health has improved and I'm able to decrease some of my prescription meds! Considering much of what ails me is progressive, both my dr and I are shocked. To actually be IMPROVING is almost unheard of! I was hoping that maybe early retirement would help me slow the progression... or just give me time to enjoy myself while I can. So this is just icing on the cake and I HAD to tell you all the good news! |
Great News! Congratulations.

That is great news Tink. Working is wonderful for some people and their health, but for others, like me a perfectionist, it can be draining on our health. I'm so happy you're improving, what a blessing!

Congrats on the good news!! If you don't have to work then enjoy staying home and just keep doing what you are doing! I am glad you are feeling better! ((HUGS))...

That's great news Tink. And you still are keeping very active. You are always busy.
|
Wonderful News!:) If you can stay home that is the best RX!
|
Great news, Tink. You have been so busy with everything, sounds like you may actually be more active at home than at work.
Wish I could stay home for a change, but alas, I'll be working for a very long time. No early retirement in the picture here. |
