It gives me error messages when I try to connect. Are you using firefox or explorer?

I use explorer.

Now I am trying with explorer and it won't even launch the page. Hmmm..

I am trying a download of mIRC which I hope will fix the problem - anyone else having trouble, here's the link for that http://www.mirc.com/get.html No - that's the other chat room software - my java is up-to-date - any ideas?

This is the error message I get which I have sent to admin:

Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.security.AccessControlException : access denied (java.net.SocketPermission irc.blessed.net resolve)

Kate i wonder if its your firewall?

There is one on the router but it usually doesn't interfere. But, I will see if I can turn it off temporarily. Thanks for the idea.

Mandy I saw you and Sheryl on earlier and I went into chat to see if you girls were there, but you were not .

I was there just a bit....Work details got in the way and I had to sign off.
