Strep
 

Dae Lynn, my daughter, has been complaining about a really bad sore throat this last week. She went to the doctor but she didn't test positive for strep throat but she has just felt awful. Well, yesterday my daugher, Amy, and granddaughter, Kera, came down with it too. They went to the doctor this afternoon and they both tested positive for strep. When I found out that they were sick yesterday I had my granddaughter, Daya, come over here and stay with us and I'm hoping that she doesn't get it. She's going to stay until they are better. Strep is awful. I had it when I was first married and it's no fun. I sure hope that it doesn't go through all of my family.:(

Yesterday after I had Daya come over she was watching tv and fell asleep. I took some pictures of her. She is such a sweetheart!!! She's 8 years old.

Diana she is so cute. How peaceful is that watching a child sleeping. I'm sorry your girls are sick with strep. I use to get strep throat twice a year..usually in Novemer and then the last of January. Since I started getting a yearly flu shot 6 years ago...I haven't had strep since. It is a horrible thing to have. Hope they get to feeling better real soon and I hope the rest of you don't get it.

Awwwww, she is beautiful!!! Hope everyone gets well soon, and that it doesn't spread. I've had strep, and it is no fun at all!!!

Poor babies. This is sad. It just breaks our heart when our kids are ill. Dae Lynn is really pretty, bless her heart.

Strep throat is awful, have had it many times.

What a cutie pie!

The kids went back to school this morning and Jaci said that she had a little bit of a sore throat. I sure hope that she doesn't get the strep too. She's suppose to call me if it gets worse. Hopefully it's just a little sore throat, nothing more.

Diana since the kids have had it, I would have Jaci call the Dr. and get started on the antibiotics right away and maybe head the strep off.

I would but she has some allergies so it might just be drainage. She said that she's had a few minor sore throats lately so I hate to put her on antibiotics when it might not be necessary. I told her to call me if it started getting worse and I would get her right into the doctor's office.
