Do you believe in Prophetic Dreams?

I had a dream a few weeks ago where I woke up one morning & pieces of my tattoo were completely gone. Now that I'm moving towards removal maybe it's something that might actually happen. I don't know where I stand on Prophetic dreams. I get day ja vous (no i didn't spell that right, but hope you get the idea) alot, but I don't really know where that feeling comes from. I was just wondering what you all think. I'm sure my dream was just the manifestation of my minds wishful thinking, but hopefully it will come to pass.

Signs come in many forms. Maybe that was your sign that its going to go well.
I use to get the da ja vue stuff in high school but haven't had it since. I could see things right before they happened. it's a very strange feeling.... .

Pony, You are really stressing out over this. I know when I have aniexty as of at the moment. I am having dental work so I dream about it. The reason being is that it is always on your mind... Please relax you seem to be making yourself sick over it. It is just a tattoo hon your making yourself nuts, from how you are reacting.. If you want to have it removed and you feel its the right thing to do, do it, this way your mind will be at ease... Good Luck!

trust me I know....and if I could listen to myself & stop making myself sick I would, but i can't. I have a consultation tomorrow to have it removed.

Have you started taking your Xanax yet? It will help you relax and not be so stressed. I was on Xanax when I first started having trouble with anxiety attacks.

Your not burdening us.. I just feel bad for you. You can come here and vent all you like. Reading posts is so difficult just like ims, its hard to decipher the person's meaning without the emotions. Seriously your not a burden at all. I just feel bad for you and want to help. Take the medicine tonight like Diana recommended and this way you will get a good nights sleep.. Gee I have never taken one, but Diana I may need it for the dentist on Monday.. See Pony I get nervous to.. believe me .

You're not "burdening" us with all of your threads. I've just had the same feelings that you're having and I know how much the medicine helps. I still take medicine for my anxiety. Every day, because I get too stressed out without it. And, yes, the Xanax will help you sleep and will keep your mind from racing.

If you're feeling really anxious about going to the dentist ask him if he can prescribe something to help you relax. All you'd need is just one pill.

I know that once when I was suppose to have surgery I got so worried about it that I knew my blood pressure was going to be sky-high by the time I got to the hospital so I called the doctor and he gave me a pill to take sometime before my surgery. I was soooo nice and calm when I got ready to go in!!! It was Wellbutrin.

The Xanax is helping. I think I slept most of the night....i at least wasn't up & down. I have been eating, not has much as I should, but i'm putting food in my stomach. I took half a Xanax this morning because i'm having a lot of anxiety going into this appointment. Hopefully soon everything will be okay. I'm also going to have them look at the tattoo on my shoulder....it's really easy to cover up, but I've been thinking about having kids & I'm wondering if I can cover it up in a bathing suit. I don't want my kids to be embarrased that their mom has a tattoo, is that weird. I probably won't get my shoulder one removed because from my research the colors in it will be hard to get off, but it never hurts to ask. Please please please keep me in your prayers today, I don't know what I'll do if this doesn't go well.

Thanks for listening.

I don't need it very often, oh I probably do, but I'm saving them for when I REALLY need it...lol, but I love Xanax. So nice for this to be invented.

They did make me feel pretty good. Jeremy said I was acting like I was drunk last night. I still had some thoughts, but overall a lot of my anxiety left.

I will be saving the rest for desperate moments.

I know exactly how you felt. The first time I took one I was in a restaurant and after I took it my daughter-in-law's eyes got big and she asked me if the doctor told me to wait until I got home. After a while I understood why she asked me that because I couldn't hardly stay awake and could barely walk to the car!!! I couldn't just take the pills "when I needed" them because my anxiety was sooo bad so I walked around in a daze for days and maybe weeks. After a period of time I got on Zoloft but it had it's own awful side effects so now I'm on something else. I wish that I could get off of the meds for this but after a couple of days of being off of the meds I get so anxious and my blood pressure goes through the roof!!!

I guess I have situational anxiety. When I first got married my anxiety got really bad. My doctor put me on zoloft but I stopped taking it because I was sleeping like 18 hours a day (i didn't have a job at the time). After about 18months of marriage things started to go better. And like now I'm having a lot of nagging anxiety over my current situation. So I think Xanax might be a good tool for me. I only take half of a 25mg pill when I feel overwhelmed. I've only taken 1.5 pills, but they have been a big help.

I'm so sorry that you have to live with such dibilitating anxiety that must be aweful. and don't you just hate it when people tell you to just relax....or stop being so hard on yourself. I only wish it were that easy. I'm so glad you've found something that works for you though.
