Songs that make you happy?

What are some songs that make you smile?

Here are a few of my favorite "good mood" songs. :) (Click the link to see it on youtube if you'd like.)

So Happy Together - The Turtles

Don't Worry, Be Happy - Bobby McFerrin

You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban

Somewhere Over The Rainbow
- Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

If Everyone Cared - Nickleback

Please post your favorites too! I've really been looking for happy, positive, upbeat songs lately. :)

There's just too many to list Angie. Most music in general makes me happy. Id have to say even some of the sad songs can lift my spirits. It allows me to express and that in return makes me feel better.

Thank goodness for music. :p

I'd have to agree with the others that there's just too many to name. I enjoy a lot of different kinds of music even. I like to listen to oldies from the 70's, Christian music, and country. There are some songs that can really take me back to when I was in high school. I love to listen to Christopher Cross! The song "I can only imagine" is a favorite too!

Oh that's a great one!

How about "Girls just wanna have fun"? That's appropriate for this board, right? ;) :D

I love all kinds of music, 50's, 60's and 70's oldies, country, just any really. My all time favorite song is What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. It always makes my heart smile.

Angie, I didn't realize that you had video attachments to your words so I went back and watched them. I loved the Josh Grobin video. He had such a wonderful voice!!!

This is Brad Paisley's Letter to Me video. Too bad that we can't go back and write a letter to ourselves when we were in high school. I like a lot of his music. I think that it's because it's clean and humorous! I love his fishing song!!!

Diana, I'm so glad you liked him. He's my all time favorite singer! Here's another of his songs...and it was written by one of my two favorite contemporary composers, James Horner. It was written for the movie Troy--bad movie, good song. :)

It doesn't fit with the "happy" theme, but I just love sharing my passion with others and I was so happy to hear that you enjoyed the Josh Groban song.

I'm going to watch the Brad Paisley video now. :)

That was great Diana!! Keep 'em coming! I'm loving this. :)

Here's a beautiful song by Groban and Celine Dion that I think you'll really enjoy. It's called The Prayer. I wish I'd heard this song before my wedding. It definitely would've been part of the ceremony...

Groban was only 17 at the time. Amazing! He was a fill-in for Andrea Bocelli who got sick last minute. Bocelli is my second favorite singer. :)

I enjoyed the Carpenter's song. I can't wait to see the next one you post. ;)

Stevie Wonder

This one is Sandy Patty. I sing a lot of her music at church.

There are so many more artists that I really like. Rich Mullins, Avalon, Point of Grace, and a lot of others.

Here's one for your Mom:
