Are YOU Needed?
 

This was in our newspaper and since so many of us have dogs I thought that you might find it interesting. I found out that I am very much needed!!!!

Experts say people who own dogs are 35 percent less likely to feel unneeded. Well, duh! Let outdoors. Let back in. Fill food dish. Fill water dish. Clean up around food dish. Clean up around water dish. Scratch ears. Scratch back, etc. etc. No mistake--you're needed!!!!

It's true. Our dogs do make us feel needed. They advise seniors to get pets so they don't get lonely.

I have no problem feeling needed around here. Dogs and people both need much the same things. :p Food, water, belly rubs...

can't wait till summer, my two are driving me crazy, i always pack up the baby in the stroller, and my husband grabs the two dogs, they love to walk... but your right, before i go to work, i get them fresh water, doggy treats, put on animal plant for two hours on the tv. they got it made.. i wish i had there life, cause i know they sleep most of the day when were at work, there so active when i get home.

Oh Diana, I loved it! I know I'm needed...all I have to do is leave for the day and the place, dogs and people all need cleaned up!

Yup, I'm needed. My two let me know. Maddie is "tells" me when she needs me (or wants to play) and Marty just looks at me with those sweet little brown pleading eyes. :)

Our paper has a little section where they put little bits of stuff and this was in there. Generally our paper is pretty boring!!! Small town=not much news!!!!

Diana, our local paper is the same way... and it only comes out once a week!
I LOVE that we don't have a lot of newsworthy things to report... as that means we don't have a lot of crime, etc. I'll take "fluff" articles anyday.
