Grandaughter has Pneumonia
 

I just got a call from my daughter Jenny, her middle daughter, Sophia has
pneumonia. We thought it was just a flu bug, but she wasn't getting any better, so Jen took her in for tests and sure enough the x-rays told the story.
Poor baby, we're having a BD party for Joey saturday and she won't be able to go.
It just breaks my heart when the little ones get sick. Keep her in your prayers.:hands:

Kathy she is adorable!! I hope she gets to feeling better real soon. Maybe someone can take a few decorations, etc. from the party and put some in her room so she can at least feel like she's part of the party.

The fever is gone, but she's still not herself, we just found out Jenny has bronchitis so our Easter plans have to change. The rest of the family was supposed to drive to Wisconsin and spend Easter with Jen and her group.
I'm not sure what we're gonna do now.
Please say a prayer for my Wi girls.

I'm sorry to hear that more of your family is sick expecially with Easter coming. You'll just have to postpone Easter until another weekend at your house. I'll say a prayer for your girls.

Poor thing, she wasn't even able to lift her head off the pillow yesterday, and to top it off she had taken antihistamines without thinking about the effect it would have on her milk supply for Ireland, so there she was with a hungry baby trying to nurse and not getting anything. I called LaLeche on 3 way and they were able to give Jenny some guidance. At least today she's able to get out of bed.
As soon as she's back to herself she'll be back online with us again.:)
Sophia's fever is gone, but she's still not her spunky little self.

My youngest had pneumonia as well. She is finally not coughing and feeling better now, but the doctor told me that the pneumonia would be gone within a week. He also said that it may take up to two months for her to stop coughing and be herself again. she has stopped coughing but she has not eaten well since she was sick. That has been around two months. She was miserable and I hope Sophia and the rest of your family feels better soon.

I had pneumonia last June, it lasted almost 2 months, and I was soo tired all the time. I hope your little one gets back to herself soon. It's so sad when the little ones are so sick.
