Guess what I got?
 

I am now officially a Blogger/ copy writer for HubPages.com.
I get to write about any topic I want, as often as I want, and get paid based on the number of people who I'm able to attract to my blogs. Since this is something I've done already, and know I enjoy doing, I'm really excited. The pay won't be huge to start with because I need to get articles written and posted and then build traffic, but the more articles I get up, the more I'll make and I have been instructed to write "evergreen" articles which are my forte. While many would prefer to be paid per article or hourly, I've worked enough times on commission to know that this is the best way for me to make a good income once I have it built up. This and the fact that I can completley set my own schedule with this are the highlights of it for me!

My Labradoodle site is a blog and I haven't had anyone backing me to help attract traffic but have about 150 page views there so far today... so know that with Hubpages backing me, I'll be able to do far better on this.

That sounds so great, Tink!! I'm glad that you found something "right up your alley"!!! After the wonderful site that you've made for your labradoodles I'm sure that you'll have an audience reading your blogs soon!!!

I've started orientation today. It's really interesting so far. I hope I like it as well as I think I will. Once I get it all figured out and set up I guess I'll know more. There's lots to learn, but by accident today I discovered that topics having to do with Labradoodles can be pretty successful, so you can guess what my first effort will be. lol
