Mother Coming Home This Month
 

I still have little time to wait, but Mother will be coming home from Florida on the 27th. My brother and his wife will be driving down to get her and bring her home. We've finally talked her into bringing the things most precious to her home along with all her bills and paperwork.

Ya just never know if she'll be able to go back next year or not. So it would be best for the family if everything was here at her house.

I'm really ready for her to come home....but then (I've told you all how she is) I'll be ready to send her back...LOL. She's a pistol for sure...but she's my mama!

That's exciting Janet! I know how much you've missed her. I think she'll be glad to be back home with you, even if you have to keep her in line a little! :)

I'm sure you will enjoy your visit, sounds like she keeps you on your toes ;) It's good for you! lol
Reminds me a lot of my grandmother. She is 87, but you would never guess she was a day under 65 with her activity level and mentality.

Janet, so glad you are excited about her coming home. We are here when you need us!!!

Thanks Marilyn. I really am ready for her to come home. I'm hoping we can do a few more fun things like auctions, sales and maybe a few flea markets this summer. We both like that sort of thing...so we'll see.

Just keep the car keys away from her, we don't want to be sending cakes to the jail house with files in them.:)

This should bring a bit of spark back into your days Janet! She sounds like a real pistol.

Oh Tink she is!!! I'll be ready to send her back to Florida a few weeks after she's back!!!...LOL We do have a good time together, but it can't be too often. I'll be taking her to the Dr. so we'll have to space our time together or combine some things. I want to keep things nice and easy between us.

She's a pistol, but she also is very stubborn, opinionated, no patience..etc. I have plenty of time to start getting on that tougher outer skin....LOL:)

You sound like a great daughter! I hope my daughter feels the same about me when I get to that age! LOL Right now we are ready to kill each other at times. LOL It sounds like you and your mom will have a great time with each other!

So it's time to bring your Mother home!!! It makes me laugh because I know that you'll be pulling your hair out in the first month!!!! I know that you love her but she does know what buttons to push!!! I also know that you've missed her and are ready to see her.

You got that right Diana and she does push the buttons and on purpose! and she blames my faults on my dad...duh..mom...look in the mirror!!..LOL.

We've gotten along alot better last year than years before, but I think it's because of the dr. visits and giving us more time to talk....and argue.

I hope this summer things are good.

Hi Janet,
My mother and father in law are going back to MI for the summer in about 20 days. She said that this was their best year down in Palmetto ever! They've been going down there since 1985 and she is 82 and he is 86! Isn't that something?
I hope things go well for you and Mom this summer too.

Thanks Jan. My Mom stays in Bradenton and has been going down there since 1985 also. Wow...small world. It just got so she couldn't handle the snow and cold so leaves Indiana the first weekend in January and she'll be back on the 27th.

Frankly, I lived down in W. Palm for 12 years and I'll take whatever weather TN gives me. Can't stand the traffic down there and some of the people are extremely rude. I have yet to meet a person here who isn't nice and I've been here 2 yrs. Just got through cutting (small) trees down (lots more to cut) and probably have ticks just dying to suck my blood. Hope hubby comes in soon and checks me out. It's been nice today, cool and windy. I guess tonight and tomorrow and Friday are going to not be so nice!! I bet you're going to get it too. How are the puppies?

Yes we're suppose to get lots of rain tomorrow and Friday. It is suppose to be a little cloudy, no rain on Saturday with temps in the high 50's. I sure hope that's what happens because I'm having a garage sale.

Puppies are doing great, thanks. They are 10 weeks old today.
