embarrassing moments--teehee
i was just thinking about this today for some reason...here it goes:
a little over a year ago, Matt was working at sears in the gardening department, and he was fixing a stand with hedge trimmers, and one of them fell between his ring finger and pinky ( ) so he came to pick me up and we headed to the hospital... he didnt want to go alone... so we're there and finally it's our turn... they looked at it, and determined that he needed stitches (actually just one) anyways... when they were about to numb the area... Matt passed out and started having convulsions, and i start freaking out bc the Dr. just said: "yeah, he's passed out" NO KIDDING!!! (lol) he finally gets the smelling salts, and matt wakes up and asks me what happened, and i just said: nothing hunny you're fine... and then all of a sudden i feel my knees give out, and next thing i know i'm on the stretcher next to matt  yup... i passed out... i didnt see blood or anything... just bam! well the whole hospital was laughing at "The couple who passed out together" :o they said they had never seen something like that... |
That's funny!!! If there's ever a big emergency I suggest that you call someone who won't faint to help you two through it!!!!

anyone have any embarrassing stories?? come on... share!! :D |
I did a reading a my cousin's wedding a few months ago. I went to the restroom when we arrived at the church then went to sit down with my husband.
When it was my turn to speak, I walked up the aisle to the microphone and heard some giggles - also heard giggles when I walked back to my seat. That's when my husband told me that my skirt and slip were tucked into the back of my nylons and I was flashing my bum to the world. |

Nicole I have a friend who is an ER nurse. I wish something like that had happened on his shift. I can't imagine what he would do. |

He said he didn't notice until I was halfway up the aisle. My cousin (the bride) is still teasing me about it though - she said I was trying to upstage her. |
Great idea for a post!
Thanks for sharing and the free entertaining mental pictures ladies :lol2: My most embarassing moments, have got to be intimate ones! Either getting walked in on, or realizing the blinds were open after the grand finale  |
I accidentally walked into the men's room at a grocery store one time. No one was in there, thank goodness, but people saw me do it. I almost died!!
|
Lol aww you guys' stories are hilarious...probably not so much at the moment of course... :D
Debbie... yeah the staff was all pretty bemused...they gave me the smelling salts and such...but they definitely were not expecting that...LOL... i was holding matt's hand and distracting him from the needles and stitches...and all of a sudden... BAM!...some help i was!! |
Nicole, back in the old days, when blood tests were required to get married, my then future hubby and I went to the clinic to have our blood drawn. They drew his blood first, and all was well. Then they drew my blood and he got woosey. The lab tech left the room and hubby slid to the floor. He had passed out and I'd never seen anyone pass out before. I thought my fiance had died. I ran out into the hall screaming for a doctor. People came from all directions and got him up and, of course, he was okay. It was really embarassing for him. They used a wheel chair to take him to the car. He was a very embarassed 21 year old at the time. Ahhhh!! Memories......
You two make quite a pair. At least I didn't join him on the floor!!! |
Dobie! OMG that is hilarious. I would have died! My hubby fainted when they drew my blood at the pre-marital too!
My most embarrassing moment happened at work. I had left my company to take another job, which I hated. About a year and a half later I had the chance to interview for a new position at my old company. I didn't want the new company to know I was interviewing, and we dressed very casually there, so I brought a dress with me and I figured I'd go in to the ladies room and change before the interview. Anyway, I was walking over to the bathrooms and right outside I ran in to the President of the company. He looked at me very sternly and said "What are YOU doing here?" I got all flustered and was trying to explain that I had an interview, etc. He laughed and said "I'm only teasing. Welcome back, I'm sure Susan will be lucky to get you" Then he walked away and, still flustered, I rushed into the men's room by mistake. There was a MAN at the URINAL! And my brain was so whacked out it took me like 5 seconds to register that I was in the men's room. I ran out like the devil was after me! I did end up getting the job and worked very closely with the guy who was in the mens room! But, he was a perfect gentleman and NEVER mentioned it! |

I can't think of any embarassing moments on myself but I have a friend, Karen, that's ditzy!! She lost a huge set of keys at church one time and had everyone looking for them. I'm not just talking about a couple of keys but quite a few!! I think that they had two vehicles at church that morning so they finally gave up and went home. We saw them a short time later and she had found her keys. They were in her underwear and she didn't know it!! She must have gone to the bathroom in between Sunday School and church. She had even sung a special that morning plus she would have sat on them all through church!!! I laughed so hard!!! Every once in a while it still comes up and she just shakes her finger at me!!! This same friend took a salad to a school supper. I wasn't there but some other friends of ours sat across from her and her husband. It was noted by one of them that one of the salads that they had gotten had sunflower seeds........still in the shells in it. Karen never said a word that it was hers but they figured it out!! Karen made the comment one time that it was funny how the night sky never changes even though the stars are always falling!!! (falling stars) I was rolling on that one!! |
