Love in the Time of Cholera

Has anyone else read this book? I started it a few weeks ago, and at the start it seemed to not be going anywhere, but now I can't put it down!

It's by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and it's a love story in the Carribean in the late 1800's (I think!). It's won a Nobel Prize :)
