I was told that if I hadn't heard from them by the end of today, that I should call the office and find out what's up with my new job. So I just talked with the lady in town here who I gave my application to. She said she was told the other branch office wanted to hire me and needed someone real soon for a couple of local clients so she had backed off...

When I told her they hasn't gotten back to me, she said she would gladly hire me if he doesn't; to do patient care about 24 hrs a week and to be her office assistant about 15 hrs a week. So I'd work in the office on a computer and answering phones part of the time, and in homes taking care of clients at other times. THAT actually sounds really good since it would be a nice bit of variety. Come Dec there will be even more office hours available.

She said she will call me at work on Monday. So it sounds like I still have a job, just that they can't decide WHICH one. LOL

My fingers are crossed!! Try to find something to keep you real busy over the weekend. You'll make yourself go insane if you don't, LOL.

I know what you mean...LOL....My patience is not one of my good qualities. It's so hard for me to wait on anything...:D
