I did it again!

I'm allergic to the sun. Have been for many years. Every year I tell myself I'm going to be careful this year... not going to end up getting all broke out and funny looking. And every year I push it too far and end up broke out and funny looking. :o I spent most of Sunday outside; tried to keep my back to the sun and still tonight I have a blister forming right on my over sized nose. I look like an idiot and will most likely have this lovely thing yet when I meet you all in Chicago.

Well no need for me to carry a red rose! Just look for the troll with the blisters on her nose!

Oh Tink you will look fine. I know these ladies will feel like I would if I was there. It wouldn't matter how you looked or what you had on as long as I got to meet you. That is still a while it will be a lot better. I do worry about your health since I have learned so much through my treatment. Be careful we love you!!

My mom is allergic to the sun and breaks out anditches when she is out in it to long and I am finding the older I get I am starting to be the same way. I had very little tan last year and it really sucks trying to wear summer clothes when you are so white and everyone else in the office is nicely tanned. My hubby works for the county and tans so nice and then he has a whitie standing next to him. LOL

Tink, I'm sure that it will be healed up by the time we meet. That's 2 1/2 weeks away. Plenty of time to heal. Besides we're not going to worry about a little thing like a blister anyway! I'm just excited to meet YOU!!! I can't wait!!!!

Diana, what's really frustrating is that once I gt the blisters they usualy hang around for weeks. They itch, look awful and I really should know better by now than to let them ever start.

Would aloe help it? I always keep a tube of pure aloe in the fridge - it's cool and soothing on sun burns and other irritations.

Great idea Dobie. I always forget about aloe and it has always worked great for me. Maybe give it a try Tink!

does sunblock help at all? and I agree with trying the chilled aloe.

Ya need to get a big floppy hat for outside in the yard Tink.
