I went long-boarding today!
 

Brendon introduced me to two of his friends from work today. We met at the mall for lunch then walked around, played some wii in the game store...then we decided to go long boarding. It was awesome! It's just such a fun feeling to be gliding so effortlessly across the pavement. It took a few tries to get the hang of it, but I can't wait to do it again tomorrow!

I was going to take some video, but we were having so much fun, then it started raining really hard so I didn't get around to it. I'll try to get video tomorrow. :)

We're also going kayaking next weekend if everything works out.

Hey girl, sounds like you guys had a blast, but now... you will have to make a video of it, and show me, i have no idea what long boarding is!

I've never heard of long boarding either. It sounds interesting though! We've never been kayaking but we love to go canoeing! It sounds like you're having a blast now that school's behind you!! Just be careful but have fun!!

Angiedoogles you are going to break your neck! Ahhh to be young again. Who am I kidding, even when I was your age you couldn't get me on a skateboard. I tried skiing, broke my leg. Tried ice skating broke my knee. Roller blading, broke my wrist. It was about then I figured God was trying to tell me something! I would love to see video of you guys doing it though!

Oh my goodness, Teri!!! I think that I wouldn't leave the house without padding on every part of my body!!! I hope that you're past all of that now.

lol, when I write it it sounds worse....this did happen over about 15 years! I'm a klutz, that's for sure. I walk with a cane now so that has slowed me down!

I worked a nine hour day today, then went longboarding again for about two hours. I have a video--pretty bad quality unfortunately, but you'll get the gist of it. It's uploading to YouTube right now, but I am just too tired to wait for it to finish. I'll post it tomorrow or you can go to youtube.com/angiedoogles and see it there if you don't want to wait. lol

It is VERY fun, but tiring after a while.

I live very close to the ocean - whenever I hear longboarding, I think surfing.
