Need Info About 4wt Convention
 

Can someone please tell me what the cost of the hotel is? I just need to find out before I head that way and make sure I bring enough money for room, food and extras. I have no clue...

At least one of you needs to bring a lap top - to let the rest of us know what's going on while you are there!!

I haven't been able to get a hold of Kat so I called and made reservations for us. I have reservations for May 30 - June 2 and I got another room for May 31. I got a queen sized bed with a sleeper sofa. I hope that that's ok. I was trying to stay inexpensive, but it was still $119. If anyone wants to stay any other night you'll need to call and make a reservation for that night.

Is Kat still planning on attending? Maybe we should reschedule...what do you all think?

My plane ticket is already booked and it would cost $150 to change it, so I'll go if some others are still going.

I have rooms reserved so I'm not backing out. I am going to do some changing on the rooms because Dae Lynn's friend isn't going to go. I think that I'll keep the suite for Friday and Saturday night (It sleeps 6) and get a smaller room for Dae Lynn and I for Sunday.

Y'all have to go!!!!! It's a must!!! If there is any way I could, I'd be there with you!!! Remember, anyone who goes to this first meeting is a "charter member"!! I still think you need to make up buttons, pins, patches or something that say "4WT Charter Member". If I had time, I'd make them for you.

I won't have enough vacation left after the wedding to do much of anything the rest of this year. It's looking like I might have 3 days off left between the end of June and January 1, besides weekends and holidays, of course, and I think Hubby wants to go somewhere. Also, there is a dear uncle that I just have to go see. He's in his 80's and I haven't seen him since 2000. Will need to 3 day weekend to fly out and see him. He lives way out in West Texas. So much to do, so little time...... (That's turning into my motto these days. Pathetic isn't it.)

I hope you ladies have a great time! I would love to be there but our annual beach trip with friends is scheduled at the same time.

I'm still looking forward to it as well... am just praying Bella cooperates so that doesn't become my stumbling block.
She's due on Tuesday... first litter for her and I need to be sure she's able to care for the pups without intervention before I can go anywhere. I'm gonna cry if I can't make it now.

That's great!!!! Kat, do you have any ideas on things that we can do? Dae Lynn saw something about a garden that's free to see and a museum. Any ideas?


Tink, I'm praying that those puppies are born on time and that everything works out smoothly so you can come.

I just have feeling that everybody will go, and that you'll have a really wonderful time.

Of course they will have pics, Marilyn. Angie will be there. We have lots of pics of everything when she is around. But that is a good thing.
