I bought myself a gift today!
 

I got myself a new baby today! I thought you might enjoy seeing pics of her.
She's an AKC Lab with SWEET bloodlines and is 8 weeks old. I wouldn't normally buy a pup this age, but I simply could not resist! I found her just 20 miles from me, bred by a chemistry professor at a local university. He used to breed Labs in Montana and hasn't gotten known here yet, so I got too sweet a deal to pass up. I haven't even named her yet.

Oh boy! Have you had labs before? They are wonderful, loyal, loving animals. Just, well....big! She is gorgeous, I love that face! Congratulations....when do you get her, or did you already?

Thanks all, I brought her home with me last night. She slept with me so fussed all of maybe 2 minutes total. LOL

I've named her Gypsy Lullaby... call her Gypsy.
She's settling in well and has been a hit with everyone so far. She's a real mellow friendly girl so spends a lot of time laying at or ON my feet. I had her out with the other pups for sunshine and fresh air today and she fit in nicely. She's somewhat bigger of course, but that didn't seem to matter to any of them.

teri88, I currently have 2 black and a chocolate lab females. So she's number 4. Both hubby and I grew up with labs, so we do enjoy them. Now I have one of each color!
:D I also have a standard poodle, 8 five week old Labradoodle pups and another litter due in 4 days.

Yes Shada, they keep me busy, but how much more fun could I have and it not be illegal? ;) I get to play with puppies, and dogs, and meet a lot of really nice dog-loving people. You're not gonna hear me complain!
