I have a job interview tomorrow! I applied for a position in New Hampshire as the assistant director of a nursing home - I really think it would be a great fit for me because 3 of the groups home I used to manage were for elderly individuals facing end of life issues.

I emailed my resume yesterday at 11:00, and the woman called me at noon to set up the interview. She said that she wanted to meet me this week. So, I'm leaving tonight to head up there - the interview is tomorrow at 2pm.

If I get the job, it's only about 20 minutes from our house! The only think that would kind of suck, is that I would only see Jim on weekends for the first 6 months or so - once I got established, then we would start to look for a position for him.

That's great news Dobie. If after the interview you still think it's a perfect fit, then I hope the heck you get it. I so admire the people that work in your field.

Well - the first interview went really well. She said that it's been narrowed down to 3 applicants and I am one of them. I should be hearing something in the next few days to arrange a second interview.

Well I'll certainly keep my fingers crossed for you to get the job.

The second interview has finally been scheduled - Tuesday at 11am. I'm really feeling positive about this - I got a very good vibe when I spoke with the woman on the phone today.

Well my fingers are definitely crossed for you. I just know you'll do great in the interview.
