The Painting Is Done!!!!!
 

I finished the painting today. I am so thrilled, but sore! I still have a few items to put back where they belong and put face plates back on in the hallway. Then it will ALL be done.

I am hoping to do all that tomorrow afternoon, but tomorrow morning I need to register Ricky for school and go into town for a bit. Once I get it all put back together I will post some pictures.:)

I can't wait to see the pics, I must post some as well of my new paint job.

School starts on the 13th of this month. That's also the anniversary of my father's passing. He's been gone 35 years and I still miss him so much and think of him all the time.

Anyway..back to the post...LOL...I am going to register Ricky for school today, but don't know if I'll bring the bus home or not since schools doesn't start for a week and a half. I may wait and bring it home this Friday.

I was just looking at the thread about the interior of our homes. So cool to see everyone's houses. I will post my pictures in a day or so. Yes, post pictures of yours too, okay?

Congratulations, Janet!!!! You did it, and saved so much money over having it done!!! I know you will feel so good when it is all finally completed and back together.

They let you bring the bus home, wow. Don't think that's been allowed here for over 20 years. The busses all go back to the "bus barn" overnight & the drivers all pick them up in the morning. Something about liability and maintenance or something. Not really sure.

I bet that you're very happy to have that job behind you!!! And I also know that you have a right to be very proud of getting it done yourself! I can't wait to see pictures of what you've done!!!!!!

We have a 'bus barn' too and there are a few that leave the buses there, but for for example, if Ricky didn't drive, he'd be my first passenger and right now the road is my second and so on and so forth. My whole route is pretty much my neighbors so it's really more cost effecient for me to pick them up leaving my house than starting from the bus barn.

DId I miss the pics...I'm still waiting to see them! :)

I posted them in another thread just this morning. Not many, but posted a link to the others from earlier...man after all that painting, I'm just plain lazy...LOL

I think that you're entitled to be lazy for a while after all that you've gotten done this summer!
