Yorkie Search leaving me nervous!!!

Hi guys! I'm on the hunt for a :dog:yorkie and it is very stressful...as most of you may know that feeling! I want to do it all right. I've filled out a few applications and I'm so nervous. I just hope one breeder inparticular likes me:crossfingers:. I would be so honored is she chose me as a owner for her pet. She is close to me (5 hours) which is a bonus and something I was really hoping to find. She is and amazing breeder, has the most beautiful puppies, and has raving reviews!
I want a pup so bad from her, and I'm so nervous waiting to hear back. I have no idea how long it takes. I keep thinking, 'oh maybe I should have answered this question differently, or done this, or this'. One question of my answers imparticular, was to the question 'do you have and questions for me?' and I said not at this time. I do have a ton of questions, and I kinda thought I should save them for after she accepts me and if she declines me, then there's not need to ask, but I'm worried she won't think I have questions for her and count me out as a prospective owner.

OMG it's just a million things going through my head right now. Do you guys know what I'm talking about here? Your experiences with this...or advice? Thanks... :o

Awww, so hope you get the pup you want!!! It's different around here. There are lots of breeders, so they have to suit what you are looking for. We have to interview them to make sure they have a proper breeding program and that the pups have the health, traits and pedigree that we are looking for. Even then, you struggle, have I made the right choice.? Did I choose based on emotion or is this really the right pup?

It's a big responsibility, and you want to get it right!!

Wishing you the very best in your quest!!!!!

I do hope she will approve you. Sounds like you are doing great with the research and all. If she has an email address listed, you can write her and tell her more about yourself and maybe add a few pictures of where a puppy will be living. I find that really helps in deciding who gets one of my puppies. Be sure to break it up in paragraphs so it doesn't seem like a long winded read though that way you can give lots of information.

I will sure keep my fingers crossed for you! Would love to know who the breeder is. I've always got my eyes and ears open.

I think that Janet has some good advice especially since she's had experience with trying to figure out what would be a good home for her pups.

I had never been around Yorkies until I got Reuger and he has been one of the most fun dogs that I have ever had! He is so loving and he just follows me everywhere! He tries so hard to do the right thing and communicate with me! I hope that you find just the right one for you too. Good luck!

You will find the right one! Good luck with your search!

Marilyn, I wish it was like that here! Well, maybe not...
Janet, I'll PM with the info (I guess I might feel like a big dork if she saw this and knew it was her...)
Thanks for the suggestions and thanks for the 'good-lucks'.
I just feel that this breeder is so awesome. I know it's going to be more than I was looking to spend, but I trust her program, and know it's so much worth the extra bit of money for a healthy dog. I just have my heart set on getting a puppy from her so that's why I'm nervous, cause I want everything to be perfect. Oh deeeeep breath!

Hi. Would you be interested in considering a rescue? If you go to petfinder.com and type in your area it will pull up all the Yorkies that are near to you that are available. I have rescues and it's very rewarding. They do have pups available as well. Truthfully, I like a little older because then you know exactly what you dog will look like and her size as well as temperment. Either way I wish you luck. Elaine

Have you found a puppy yet? Did you go with the breeder you posted about?

Good luck! I hope you find the perfect pup for your home very soon.
