Concert
 

My friend Alison and I went to see Lynard Skynard in concert on Saturday. They actually opened for Kid Rock, but we went to see Skynard.
What a great show they put on, they played all of their hits and were on for well over an hour and a half. We had lawn seats, and were lucky that it was a beautiful night.
Believe it or not, except for a couple of pretty vulgar songs, Kid Rock also put on a very good show. He had one of the guys from Run DMC and played"Walk this Way", then had on Peter Wolf and sang "Centerfold" - he also did some R&B and country songs. He also played for about an hour an a half.
The only thing that I wasn't thrilled about was that a LOT of people around us were smoking pot - I'm not a kid anymore, the smell of it gave me a headache by the end of the night

I got home at about 1 in the morning, and Jim and I headed out to NH about 9 in the morning - so I was pretty dragging all day yesterday.

I love those types of concerts! It does sound like you had a great time!

My husband use to listen to Lynard Skynard when we were younger. I have mostly been a country music fan, but love most all. I would probably get a headache from the pot smell now myself, but I sure didn't use to...LOL.
