Tina Fey as Sarah Palin
Wow this is soooo funny! Well-done sketch. Who doesn't love SNL?

Funny, But, I am so sick of seeing it over and over and over.
|
It is funny, but I have to agree with Donna. How many times was it on TV yesterday!
|
Oops, then I must be behind the times. Like way behind, haha! I just saw the clip online and thought it was worth a chuckle.
|
That was funny and I hadn't seen it so I'm glad that you shared it.
|
I hadn't seen it either :) I was going to watch SNL but I watched a movie instead. That was pretty funny! I wonder if Tina Fey will be back as Sarah Palin in more sketches? I might watch it more lol
I miss old SNL with Will Farrell and Chris Kattan! I think it has gone downhill in the past few years. |
Lindsey I miss the really old SNL with Chevy Chase, Jim Beluci, Steve Martin was on there a lot too, Gilda Radner, Jane Curtain and more...the really good one...LOL
Sorry got off topice for a minute...I thought she was really funny...I haven't seen it either. I've heard it mentioned on TV and a side by side picture of the two of them..they looked like identical twins...wow...but I hadn't seen the video. |
lol Janet... a little before my time ;) I do see the reruns sometimes though. I used to watch SNL with my dad when I was really little... I remember the church lady, but I don't remember who played her or anything. I just remember my brother and I constantly saying "WELL ISN'T THAT SPECIAL" and my parents laughing their butts off at us
|
It was in the early 70's and I just loved Gilda saying "isn't that special". Here is another one of Gilda...so funny. I tried to find the original land shark skit...it was always hilarious, but I think it's probably copyrighted and prohibited or something.
|
OMGosh!! That was so funny!!! I used to watch SNL years ago and I had forgotten how hilarious Gilda was!! Thanks for putting this one on!!! I wouldn't mind seeing some others too.

We lost a great comediann when Gilda passed. She was so funny in just every skit she did. I really liked her and Jane Curtain together...hilarious. There was a tall skinny girl on there too that was really funny, but I just can not recall her name. It will come to me someday.:) |
The redhead right? I forgot her name too. Those were the days! We used to all get together to watch SNL. The humor was different then. I remember the "hamburger, hamburger, chips", John Belushi as the bee and also as the karate guy, Chevy Chase and Jane Curtain as news reporters. Remember when Roseann Rosanadana would show up on their show?
Lots more too. I'm so glad I was alive in the 60's and 70's. We had fun, the music was incredible, and life was really good. Thanks Janet. That was a great memory. |
I thought it was great too. We use to play cards, watch SNL, play more cards into the early hours and then make breakfast, usually biscuits and gravy. Ahhh...such good times.
|
Judy, you are right, the 60's/70's were a great time to be a young adult. The music, causes, unrest, justice, many many things (good, bad, and !!!!!-shall remain unnamed) happened during those times and I am so glad that I was there so witness it.
I LOVED the original SNL show - Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray - what a crew! I love the Blues Brothers and so many of the sketches. Sadly, I haven't watched it in years - I'm sure it is good, just not the same. What WAS the tall skinny redhead's name???!!!???!!! I cheated, I looked it up, Laraine Newman |
I had only seen a couple of clips from it - this is the first time I watched the entire thing - VERY funny.
