Instant Messaging
 

Okay...I'm a novice at this, but how many of you have IM? I have my camera hooked up now, but does it only work with video calls or can it work with IM too? So much to learn. I have MSN Instant Messaging but it also works with Yahoo now I guess. Not sure of all the specifics, so if someone knows...can you answer the questions I've asked and give a few more pointers?...:)

I have msn messenger, and the camera will work with it. If you're in a conversation with someone, and you camera is plugged in, right under your picture there should be a little camera symbol. If you click on that you can start your webcam.

Yes Janet, I believe the video calls include voice? If you just want the camera, Lindsey is right.

For yahoo, you go to the webcam button at the top of your conversation. ;)

Thanks ladies. I don't think I can do a video call...I don't have a microphone..I don't think...but I can't type in the IM.
