Jim's ok - but he went off the road
Jim's up here in NH for the entire week with me. We're having a pretty big snowstorm. He drove me into work because I don't like driving in the snow - he called a little while ago to say that he spun out on the way home and went into a ditch. Thankfully he was not injured, the tow truck pulled the car out of the ditch. Jim said that there is some minor damage to the hood/bumper/passenger fender, but the car is drivable.

Thank God he is ok. My husband just called he said Cleveland is getting hammered where he is, i just home he makes it home for Thanksgiving

I had no idea you all were experiencing such bad weather. Thank God Jim is okay...cars can be replaced or fixed. Stay safe!!!
|
Thank God he is okay! We are getting tons of snow here in Ohio today. It's that really wet snow that sticks to everything. It looks so pretty, but I still hate it!
|
So glad he didn't get hurt. Hope it doesn't cost to much for repairs.
|
That's why I live in Texas! :) No snow, and if it does snow, the whole city shuts down :D
I'm so happy to hear that Jim is OK! |
So glad that Jim is okay. So sorry that y'all are having such nasty weather.
It was 70 deg and sunny here today. Was in the 40's this morning though, a but nippy. Gayle is right. When it snows everything shuts down and we have a curfew in effect, or did last time, of course, that was 12" on Christmas Day 2004. They even published hard backed books with pictures of it, it was so rare!! |
I am glad to hear that Jim is ok.. that was scary. I can't believe your having such a bad snowstorm. Here at the moment is not so cold, it was high 40's 50 today. It will come soon.. Stay safe and warm.

I too, am glad that Jim's alright. It sounds like the car isn't damaged too badly. Stay safe!!!
|
Thank God Jim is okay. It's very scary to drive in this weather. I hope he's not too shaken up.
|
Got the estimate for the repair, just under $700 - not as bad as I thought it would be. I think we're going to wait until after Christmas to get it fixed. I'm starting to look at alternate routes to work, looking to see if any are less curvy/hilly on snowy days.

Thank God for his safety.
Janet, you already changed your avatar? Love it. |
I don't know how I missed this Cheryl!
I bet you were a wreck  I am so glad to hear he is alright. Bummer with the bill though  |
