I went skating this morning!!!
 

Today just couldn't get any better!!! Emilee didn't want to be with the puppies so I let her in the computer room with me. I heard her bark so I went to see where she was.

She had gone back to my bedroom to check on the puppies, but decided to take a dump in the hallway. It was dark there and I slid on crap and almost landed on my butt.

I just wanted to barf...that kind of stuff just doesn't sit well with me. Usually she will tell you when she wants out, but nooooooo....she had to let me skate down the freak'n hallway.

So.....both feet had dog crap on the bottom, which means as I slid down the hall, it got smashed in the carpet....ggrrrrrrr!!!!

I got out my Little Green Giant carpet cleaner and got it all cleaned up, but I wasn't a happy camper. I sure hope nothing else goes wrong...especially with our meal.

Now ...wasn't this a gross post????:rolleyes:

Oooooo yuck!!! (I'm trying hard NOT to think too much on this post with a big meal coming up!!! I'm blocking that thought!)

When I saw this title, my first thought was, "Oh s***, there must be ice on the ground and she went ice skating". :eek:

Oh geez, I thought the same thing....that you slid on the ice. Thank God that wasn't what happened.

Janet you had some day today, starting with Emilee's poop and ending up cooking for no shows . You deserve a :ghug:

Oh I'm fine....LOL....I even kept my cool through the whole thing. I just wanted to have a great day and except for a couple incidents.....I did.

After our meal we went for a nice walk. The sun was shining, temp was 52, but there was a breeze that made it seem cooler. I kind of wish I had a hat on. We took Penny with us and she loved it.

Glad you had the right adittude. We need that somedays. Next year I'll come to your house. LOL

Wow - didn't expect that story - when I read the title I had an image of you peacefully skating on a pond somewhere, with the wind gently blowly the evergreens around you. Sorry your real skating story wasn't fun!

I am so glad you had a nice day, even though you stepped in Emilee's poop.
It was a very nice day to take a walk, I think i could handle winter if all the days were like this one instead of the snow & ice which is suppose to be on it's way for going back to work on Monday. :eek:

Oh, Janet, TMI!!!! JK, sorry you had this experience on such a busy morning!!!

I also pictured you ice skating on a beautiful frozen lake! Nothing like a good poop story to round out the day.

I'm glad you enjoyed Thanksiving dinner as much as you did. It sounds like you didn't need any company after all.
