I e-mailed this to some 20 somethings and asked them to try it and report back. They congregate in large enough groups to have 8 cell phones so they can try this out.

This is scary. If this does work, I may never use my cell phone without a wireless earpiece again.

I showed this video to Hubby and he had already seen it, and knew it was fake. According to Snopes, this was produced last year, and to create the effect, they dropped already popped corn, and used digital editing to remove the kernals from the picture. It was distributed by a company who makes bluetooth head sets to promote their use.

Thank goodness it's not true. I was really concerned, as much as I use my cell phone. Whew....

I was going to check Snopes and then totally forgot. I just couldn't see it actually being able to happen if it could cause that much damage in that short a time to people.

I didn't even think to check this out on Snopes!! There was something about it that just didn't seem real. I'm glad that you thought to check it.
