Rod had a fire on his farm!!!!
He goes to lunch every day at the same time, today during that time I got a call that his farm was on fire. Some of you might not know that he buys and sells animals, we do not live there, he has horses, cattle, sheep, poultry, the monkey, etc. I called him and when we got there about 5 fire trucks were putting out fires on a hay trailer and another trailer that were burnt to the ground. They called for more help because we are in a very serious drought situation and to top it off, it was windy today. It was just a few feet away from the monkey but no animals got hurt. The fire department thinks it is suspicious because there have been 5 fires recently in that neighborhood, and strange that it happened when he was at lunch. He has hundreds of customers and some are not very friendly.
Thank God, it could have been worse. Thanks for listening. I am still shaking. |
I'm so sorry Donna! I just read this on YT and replied there too. I'm so glad nobody was hurt!!
|
Sp glad no one was hurt and the animals are all okay. Fires are so scary and destructive.
|
I'm so sorry about your fire but thank goodness, your animals are alright! It sounds like there's someone in the neighborhood that's setting fire.
|
Thank you friends.

Oh Dear! That is so scary, especially when animals are near - I'm so glad none were hurt. It is very bad with the drought, so it could have been much worse. I'm so glad it wasn't. In the fire that burned part of our farm, about 500 cattle were killed, we didn't have any on our farm, but others lost many cattle.

What a scary thing! Thank goodness nobody got hurt, and the animals are okay.
Rod must be upset. You'll have to give him some TLC Donna! |
How frightening! No wonder you are still shaking! I hope they find out who did it.

Thanks, we were so lucky.
