Weekend Plans?

Tomorrow, Hubby and I are going to spend the day with his Mommy. We'll drive 1.5 hours, I'll find a cool place to sit while he does chores for her, we'll take her out to lunch, drop her off and head back home. My excuse is that I need to be home to take the doggies out.

Sunday, I hope to do some housework and groom some doggies - all inside stuff!

Today's my Tiramisu's 4th birthday!

DianaB 06-19-2009 11:53 AM

How cool!! Reuger's 4th birthday was yesterday!!!! Karlie and I sung Happy Birthday to him!!

Tomorrow our town has a health fair going on. Actually we were suppose to have it last month but we had that bad storm that did a lot of damage around town and our electricity was off so it was rescheduled. They have all kinds of booths set up and give prizes every 15 minutes. You can get all kinds of free stuff, pads of paper, pens, flowers, and etc. They also do a free blood test that checks for several things and they send the results to your doctor. It's definitely worth going and having done. I'm planning on doing that and probably going to a few garage sales. I need to look for some Father's Day gifts too. My Dad has passed away but I still have my husband and wonderful step-father to get for.

Sounds like you have a busy weekend planned Sandy....

:bigbday: Tiramisu....

I'm not planning on doing too much. Tomorrow Ricky comes home so I'll be waiting to see him and hug him tight! I'll have plenty of laundry to do when he gets home.

My hubby is away working this weekend will be home sunday evening.
My daughter and hubby and kids stayed around for dinner this evening and my son cooked unusual but really nice, we had a couple of bottles of wine and they have now gone home. I am not sure what I will do for the rest of the weekend but am sure will be peacefull.

We are going to take our new little travel trailer out to a local lake on Sat/Sun. It's only about 20 miles from our house, so my daughter told me it is not like real camping! I just want to make sure that everything works, and figure out what needs to be fixed/adjusted (there's always something, it seems) before we take off for Arkansas in the middle of July.

This is the last weekend before we go to Arkansas that we will be able to take it out for a test run. My mom is having her knee replaced next Thursday, so I will be on hospital duty next weekend. Then, the weekend after next weekend is the weekend before we will be leaving and I don't want to wait that long to find out if something needs to be fixed.

So, this weekend it is - it is waaaay to hot to be camping in Texas right now - but as I said, this is just a "test camp". We'll set up the TV, probably even the satelite and just vegetate inside.

Are you sleeping over? I hope you have a good time and stay cool.

I just had Marcia here to clean, and then I'm probably going over to Jessie's to wish Steve a Happy Fathers' Day.

It's finally not raining here! WAHOO:D

Ricky made it home, but I only got to spend a couple hours with him before he had to go to work. Then he had to work today also. Sucks....

So today I did all the laundry they brought home...how fun is that..lol.

Sometime next week, I want to take Lynne to Lafayette. She needs some really good scissors for grooming her dogs and then I have a gift card for the Olive Garden...yummy! Hope she'll feel good enough to go.

I had a bbq today for about 20 people.. It was raining all weekend but it cleared up this afternoon and gave us enough time to bbq and eat outside. Then it came down in buckets so we had coffee and deserts inside.... Not a bad day after all.

We ended up "camping" in the driveway. Gary has hives and has to get in the bathtub with an oatmeal bath to get them under control. The trailer only has a shower, so we decided we should just stay here. I've spent much of the weekend in the trailer or in Walmart, getting things for the trailer.

We went to my daughter's tonight for dinner. MMMMMMM..roast, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, gravy and homemade bread!!! WOW - SO GOOD!!!

I'm so glad the bbq turned out well and that the weather cooperated for the most part. What was on the menu?

The three daughters came to visit Hubby yesterday, but Jeff didn't come down. It was a good, but HOT day!
