What a Parade!!!
 

Ricky got home yesterday safe and sound, but had to go to work at 4:30 PM. I only got to spend a few hours with him. There was a nice breeze out so we went to sit on the front porch swing and a group of antique tractors went by. I told Ricky (kiddingly of course) that I was so happy to see him I arranged a parade....lol


The County Antique Tractor Club had one of their outings.

There was a car show in town this weekend for father's day. Haven't seen a tractor club before. How cool!!!

And so glay you have your Ricky back!!!

Marilyn I was at a car show last weekend.. really cool saw lots of oldies but goodies. Janet never heard of a tractor club parade.. Different.

Again it rained by me they forecast another week of RAIN!! I want the sun to come out.

Send your rain here!!! We're drying to a crisp again. At least one of the farmers that we know had a complete crop failure, no harvest at all. The rain is needed very badly for the ranchers. They can't afford to keep buying feed for their cattle. Your beef prices will soar if this continues.

Okay, everyone, back to Janet's parade for Ricky!!!!!

Since we are a rural farm community..there are quite a few farms handed down through the generations. Many of the county farmers have kept their first tractors. Though the 4-H program a club was started and well... there ya have it...Antique Tractor Club....LOL.

They always have a big area set up during the fair and the kids love seeing the old tractors, thrashers and hay bailers working. Lots of education at the fair.

Throw in a couple of school bands, a homecoming queen float, a fleet of decorated bicycles and 4-wheelers, the Shriner's, and a couple of old fire trucks and you have our Homecoming Parade!!!! :sidesplit: I love how you arranged all of that just for Ricky's homecoming!!!!!!
