Storms.....
 

We had some storms go through this morning and soon after lunch our electricity went out. Town went out too. Dae Lynn came home two hours early to get Karlie. It finally came on around 6:00. I didn't get much done. It seems like everything I went to do involved electricity!!!

We have storms due again later tonight and we're in a flood watch. Don't worry we're high enough that that doesn't affect us. We have rain due over the next several days because we've got a cold front stalled over us. The rain will be good for the crops and no more lugging my sprinkler all over the yard!!!!!

I'm so glad you are getting rain - I have to be glad that someone is, rather than being sad we are not. They say that we will have rain this fall/winter due to El Nino in the Pacific - so we will just have to wait. Also, all the action in the Atlantic and Gulf, means that we might get some rain from a hurricane or tropical storm. We'll just have to wait and see - oh and be happy that you are getting rain. Growing up on the farm, I certainly understand the need for rain for the crops!

It is such a pain to be out of electricity these days. Everything we do it tied to it! I'm glad it's back and hope it does't go away again!!!

Ya!! Glad to hear you are getting some much needed rain!!!! Sorry about your power though. That can be a real problem, especially when it's hot and humid!!

I wish were would have a good storm. I thought we were going to have a good one last night but all it did was thunder and lightning. I guess we got a little bit of rain, but I was fast asleep and have no idea how much.

Too bad you lost electricity. Most everything there is to do must have it. I would have taken a nap...lol. Glad you're safe through the storms.
