John Lennon Museum
4 Attachment(s)
I loved the Beatles and John Lennon, last weekend we went to see artifacts that Ono Lennon put up in a Rock and RollHall of Fame museum about her years with John. It was so nice, showing films with his music and other interesting memorabilia . I was not able to photograph inside. Afterwards we went to Little Italy in the City they are getting ready for the feast of St. Gennaro which started last Thursday. I will be going back to the city this Sunday and will be going to the feast.
the second shot you will see my husband in the corner.. the one with the woman next to me is my SIL.. |

Janet it was really nice.. Sad part though there is a bag with his clothes on display that was returned to Yoko the time of the murder from the hospital. Underneath it she wrote how John had everything a man could want in this world and what became of him but this bag of clothes.. She also had a poster made out with his glasses all filled with blood.. So sad.. |
I was never much into the Beatles but the museum sounds interesting. Too bad that you couldn't take a few pictures for us.

I LOVED the Beatles - would sooooo love to see the museum!

Wow Gina! Looking at the first picture is the first time I have missed NYC!!! Looking at the last picture of the crowd, not so much.
That was such a terrible day in NYC, and such a waste of a good life. I wish these really crazy people would just kill themselves, if that's the way they are headed, and leave others alone. You look beautiful, and hubby is very handsome. |
That's so cool Gina! I love the Beatles, even though they're a little before my time :) My friends and I went to Strawberry Fields in NYC and saw where Yoko Ono lives and where John Lennon was killed. It was a cold rainy day, so it definitely fit the mood.
I loooooooved Little Italy! It may have been boosted by my dislike of Chinatown, which was directly before it lol! But in Little Italy I had the best minestrone soup I've had in my life! |
