Well, I have to say that this "slanderous" story about David Letterman is the silliest thing. Now, another young woman came forward to admit that she was also DL's lover. So what? I don't think he was with his present wife, and they weren't married until just a few months ago.

How many women do you think will come forward? It's really so unimportant.
Why is the media covering it? I think they should have covered the extortion story, but that's where it should have ended.

I saw something about this on ET! It's ridiculous, who cares? It's hard telling how many will come forward, but then again......... what does it matter, if what we are hearing is true, he wasn't married at the time:rolleyes:

I think that it's ridiculious too. I don't want to hear about someone's love life. Yuck!!

It makes me sad for our future... what "scandals" will my grand children be exposed to? I am sure by then, full frontal nudity will be the norm on basic cable :(

I so totally agree with you all. I just don't get it. Why do they think the general public would care if a single guy was having a sexual relationship with anyone? Just saw on the news where they are wondering why a sexual harassment suit was filed......well....duh....it was probably okay with the women...geez. Now there saying it was only okay because the women needed their jobs and were too afraid to file a lawsuit.

Sooooo time to worry about something else.

I think DL got more press than the attack in Afghanistan. If I worked for DL, and he had come onto me, I might have agreed. He is probably a lot of fun! Everything isn't sexual harrassment. Don't they realize that we women have free will as well?

However, another very important current event! Jon from Jon & Kate Plus 8, is losing it! He got kicked off the show, and has gone over the top infantile about it!

And...they (who?) are now questioning Kevin Federline's parenting skills. For those of you who have no idea who he is, well, shame on you! He is Britney Spear's ex.

I keep up with important news. I watch TMZ.

I feel sorry for Kate. I think that Jon's a jerk for taking his dating public. They need to keep their private life private. I'm sure that Kate wasn't the easiest to live with but I don't feel that she's deserved all the negative public attention.

I totally agree with you! And if I had 8 kids and a husband that acted like a kid I probably wouldn't be the easiest to live with either :rolleyes: so I don't blame her for being strict and a little bossy sometimes!

Well..more news has come out about DL but I have not read or watched it. Judy's right...woman have the choice to say yes or no....guess a few said yes.

Jon and Kate....I was so saddened when the news first broke that they were having trouble. I felt a little sorry for Jon because I wondered if he had to put up with that treatment all the time. Then I thought he should have had the balls to stand up for himself and see about counseling to work things out. They make enough money to pay for it. Now....I see why he was treated that way....what kind of father does the things he has done if the reports are correct. They just need to take the whole show off the air and let them deal in private.

I agree with you girls who cares what goes on in DL love life, I think the media is portraying it because DL is always condeming all the politicans and their love scandals so look who is calling the kettle black. Hey it sells papers I guess.
