Time Change....

Tonight's the night for a time change. I didn't think about this earlier today so I hope that everyone remembered. Yay!!! An extra hour to sleep!!!!

Gina 10-31-2009 08:55 PM

It will get darker earlier to Diana :(

I don't want the time change...I like it staying light longer in the evening. I don't get an extra hour of sleep and by now......we should all know why. snore....snore....snore.....

I know. I hate that part but I really enjoy having that extra hour. We got up early this morning and actually had time to enjoy our morning. We usually rush trying to get ready for church and don't have any extra time. My body doesn't like adjusting to any time change. It's just too old to change easily!!!!

Too old????? Do you have a rocking chair and a blanket??? lolol

I liked it when we had daylight savings time all year. Wish we could go back to that. They told us it didn't work up north because children were waiting for the school bus in the dark in the winter, so they had to go back to standard time in the winter.

I don't like driving home from work when it's getting dark already.:(

Diana, the extra hour of sleep was nice though!!

I'm on Central Standard Time so we don't change our clocks. My tv schedule just gets screwed up twice a year :)

I have the blanket!!!! The chair will have to wait for awhile!!! Really, it is hard to change your body clock one hour. It takes me a week or so before I get used to it. I don't know how people who travel a lot do it!!

It's a good thing the cable box has the correct time on it. I haven't changed a few clocks yet!

It is odd though that it is dark out, and yet so early when I look at the clock.

The children up here all get to school and home by bus. I wonder if they really need to have the clocks changed anymore. It's either dark going, or dark coming home if they have after school activities.

Janet 11-07-2009 02:34 PM

It was dark when I picked the kids up before the change. Now it's just barely light and in a few weeks...it will be dark again so it's not really helping any.

The change doesn't seem to bother my body clock...I really can't tell any difference. I just don't like it being dark so early in the evening.
