Dae Lynn's Baby Shower......
 

Sorry, that I'm so late getting these on for you to see. I guess that I'm in a picture posting mood tonight!!!

Here's the baby shower that the church had for Dae Lynn. It was a really nice shower!!!

I didn't get a picture of all the gifts opened because while we were eating the women started packing everything up!! It was a nice shower and a lot of people came!!

Oh, I almost forgot......all the gifts around Karlie were for her!!! It was so nice that people thought of her too!!!

I'm so glad you posted these pics Diana. Looks like she had a great shower and the decorations are so cute. That is so nice that her husband was there too. Here in Indiana...we don't usually invite the husbands....LOL.

How nice was it for them to remember Karli too. You have a really nice church family to do this.

Actually we don't usually have the fathers at our showers here either, but Damon is a very hands-on father and wants to be a part of everything concerning Dae Lynn and the baby. Even at the hospital he was there every second and even took a week off of work to be home with them after they got home. By the time they had left the hospital Dae Lynn had only changed ONE diaper!! Part of the reason is because when Karlie was born that was the end of her mother's part. I guess that she never got up in the night and Damon worried about Karlie when he was at work. It seemed like her diaper was never changed and she was never cared for so Damon had to do it all. He has really told Dae Lynn how he appreciates her being a good mom. I think that it's hard to let go and not worry after all that he went through with Karlie's mom.

Poor Karlie!! And Damon!! Thank God they are with Daelynn now, and are part of your amazing family, Diana.

They are all going to enjoy the baby so much! They got lots of gifts, and so did big sister!

Wow, what a great shower!! She got a lot of presents, and everything looks so nice! The diaper cake is cute, too. I know they must have had so much fun.

Damon has been so amazed at everything they've been given. With his first marriage they never had gifts given to them. (They were just married at the Justice of the Peace.) They did have a shower for Karlie when she was born but I don't think that they got too much. Our church is a very giving church and, of course, all of the people have known Dae Lynn since she was born.

We have a shower committee that does an excellent job at doing the showers. The cakes are always amazing!!

Oh what great pictures, Diana! It looks like you all had so much fun. Just think, now baby Dean is HERE!
