The Painting is mostly done....
 

I'm back. It's been a very long three weeks!!! After breakfast I'd head over to Dae Lynn's new house....taking lunch with me......and we'd paint until 7 or 8 o'clock....sometimes I'd even stay until 9 or 9:30. If I wasn't painting then I was watching Karlie and Dean.....with sometimes doing both!!!

The walls turned out sooo nice!! We painted over paneling (it's a double wide trailer). The house had been remodeled by the owners and, let me say, that finishing work isn't how he makes a living!! Everything was poorly done but........we used joint compound and filled holes, cracks, and anything else that bothered us!!! I'm very proud of the work that Dae Lynn and I did. We used tape and so we have nice straight lines!!

The owners had taken out windows and had just placed a piece of paneling over the spot where the windows were so the paneling doesn't match what was there before. It doesn't look good but we did our best to make it work. We're hoping that with furniture and pictures on the wall that it won't show up too much.....at least they only did this in the bedrooms.

The owners came by to pick up a few thngs the other night and the wife, Tracy, is actually a very close friend and college roommate to Dae Lynn, made a comment to her husband about look what we had done and they could have been living in this with it this nice if they'd have put some work into it!!! I think that we're going to go over sometime and do some painting for Tracy and show her how it's done.

I do have some before pictures but I haven't taken any after pictures. Dae Lynn moved in on Friday so I'll get some as soon as she gets things a little more in order. I have a lot to catch up on and will do so as soon as I get caught up on some housework. I still have a little more painting to do but I think I can do it a little more slowly than I was going......my poor body is not only tired but very, very sore!!!! I missed all of you too!!!

It's about time girlfriend. You have been so missed!!!!! I'm thrilled you're almost done and had such a great time with Dae Lynn. Really anxious to see all the pictures, but I'll be patient..lol. I'm just glad you're back.

So glad you're back Diana! I can't wait to see pix either but I will also be patient. Get ya some rest. Just sit back and kick your feet up for a few days!:)

It seems like all weekend all I did was sleep. I didn't realize that I was that tired. I knew that Dae Lynn was wanting to move by the weekend and I really pushed to get it all done. It's nice to be home and get a few things done!!!

Just take your time and get rested. You must have worked even harder than you thought.

WoW you all really did a lot of work. I would be absolutely zonked out!!! I can't wait to see the pix! I know it will just look super.

Can't wait to see your project but of course I do want you to rest :)

Dae Lynn's been putting stuff away and I haven't even made it over to take the "after" pictures yet. I'll get that done soon. Sorry to make you wait.
