The Last Two Of Five
 

Today Ozzie and Gidget (mother/son) are being neutered/spayed. Ozzie is done already and I will pick him up later, after the afternoon route and I will pick up Gidget tomorrow morning. Now...all 6 of our dogs are fixed (5 Yorkies and Penny).

I was getting so tired of the dogs and puppies being almost the biggest focus of my life so it was time to quit. If I had my way, I'd rehome at least two of them, but Ricky loves them so much and I do understand that. He knows that when he goes out on his own....they go with him... :)

Now I'm hoping on saving some money back and focusing a little more on myself. That may sound selfish to some, but Ricky is grown now, needing me a bit less so i want to do some things I've put aside because of just not enough time. I'm wanting to sew some things and read my Bible more. I love auctions, garage sales and flea markets...so I want to visit more of them. I also want to have a meet up with you ladies....so when are we gonna plan this? Now that I have driving to Kansas under my belt...I feel I can do darn near anything....;)

I'm alway's happy to hear there getting fixed. I have been to so many pounds that I'm glad there are responsible people out there. My yorkie girl hasn't been spayed, I was hoping she would be 5lbs before going under the knife. When I finish my semester I do want to plan on getting her fixed.

And you should worry a little more about yourself I think you deserve it. Go get a massage as well.

Good for you Janet! You deserve to spend some time on yourself!

Janet, I'm glad you are getting this done, I know you have wanted to do it for a while now. You can come play with my babies any time i have them.

Now it's time to start enjoying your self.
By the way we are going to Grand Rapids to a dog show, will talk with you about it some time this weekend.

Good for you Janet! It's time for you to do what you want. We get so involved with our children, that when they grow up we really have to rethink our OWN life. I'm doing the same thing now, and my kids are 30 and 35:eek: But they have always been close by with my grandchildren, and now everybody is gone:o We'll find our way Janet:) Love ya!

Way to go Janet! It's part of life, and you can really do whatever you want with your time. I love the freedom. It is difficulty sometimes to build a new life for yourself after the kids are grown, but, like everything else, one day at a time. It sounds like you have some ideas already!

Janet, I'm so glad your doggies are doing well after their surgeries. Mine did fine. My three are all spayed and neutered now too. I just couldn't do the breeding thing........didn't want to part with them lol but ya can't keep them all:rolleyes: I'm happy that you are thinking about doing more for yourself. :)

Jessica...my little girl Lucy is only 4 pounds and she did just fine with her spay. Just wanted to let you know that..:)

A meetup sounds so wonderful....how often do you get to ky? Maybe Lexington..just thinking out loud I guess.:)

Yes, Jessica....my Brenna is only 3 lbs 7 ozs and she did great!

I'm sure that you'll find plenty of things to keep you busy that you enjoy!! Too bad that you're not closer......we could do a lot of things together.

I think that we should make some plans for a meet up and stick to them this time!! We'll have to get some ideas on where to meet.

I try Diana....thing is..Ricky paid for Ozzie and Gidget's surgeries. I told him I really just couldn't afford it and that it really needed done. He stepped up and paid for it. Those two are his favorites.

I wished I lived closer too....you don't know how much!!! Well...I've already started saving for either a 4WT meet up or to get back to your place. I loved being with you.

My little girl is just so skinny. If she was small and chubby I probably be ok. I will have her spay even if it kills me :o
