My baby is going to a new home!!
 

Today, my little chocolate Yorkie, Izzie, will be going to her new home. I just got a call and they are less than an hour away. My heart is racing and the tears are so hard to hold back.

I know she is going to have the best life ever and in warmer weather to boot. I've talked with and exchanged emails with the new parents and I love everything I know about them. It's what is best for our family and Izzie, but we've grown to love her so much these past 9 months and it's time for her to go to her forever home.

Please don't respond with anything I will cry over......I just needed to let my feelings out again and let the tears fall.

{{{Janet}}} I bet the new family is SO excited! Having just gotten my new pup, I can imagine they're excited and very thankful that you've given that one such a wonderful loving start. Way to go!

That's why I don't think that I could be a breeder. I would get so attached to the puppies that I wouldn't be able to get rid of them. I would just have a house full!! Then Hubby would not be a happy camper!!!!

Just remember how happy that you were when you got your first little puppy and know that that's how the new owners are feeling about receiving Izzie. Think happy thoughts!!!

Janet, just think, you just made one family the HAPPIEST people in the whole world!!!!!!!!!!! They are going to take SUCH great parents for Izzie and she is going to have a wonderful home. AND they are on YT, aren't they? AND they have email! You will be able to keep in touch with Izzie, so don't worry. You are doing the right thing.

Just think how loved and spoiled Izzie will be! He'll be such a happy, rotten baby!

If he is half as spoiled as my Hopey is.... he will be in puppy heaven!

I just feel so horrible!! They left with Izzie about 1 PM yesterday and I cried the whole afternoon and evening. My son and husband didn't know what to do with me. I know she will be loved beyond belief, but I feel like I betrayed her. She kept watching and looking at me like she knew what was happening. I will never keep a puppy that long again. My heart is aching so bad, even this morning. I wish I could turn back time, but I can't. I just feel so awful. I was hoping I would feel a little better about it this morning, but my heart just aches for her, I can't stand it.

Ahhhh Janet, i'm sorry your feeling terrible! I would be the same. 9 months is a long time, it's normal to be so attached to her. I feel your pain girl. I would be the most terrible breeder.... could never part with any one of them.

It's Monday morning and I am doing a little better. They called yesterday and told me how Izzie was doing and....she's doing great. I just miss her.

I know she will be loved beyond measure and I know it will get better with time. I usually hate to wish time away, but at this time, I'm wishing a few weeks to pass in a hurry.

Yes, I promised them I wouldn't be a nuisance and they promised to send pictures often. I've talked with TLC (Nicole) from YT and she is just so sweet. She has reassured me over and over how much Izzie will be loved and I believe her with my whole heart. Nicole is such a dear, sweet young lady. Her parents are the ones who adopted Izzie and Nicole is hoping to get her Mom to join YT. A great, great family!!!:)
